SD2 makes $120,000 commitment to fund 3 named UCSD PATHS Scholarships

The UCSD PATHS Program is a four-year undergraduate scholarship and student support program that provides an up to $10,000 scholarship/year, enhanced access to stratified mentorship, campus support, hands-on training, and academic preparation support. San Diego Squared has partnered with them to put together three scholarships.  The scholarships will be named after the NASA mathematician Katherine Johnson, Nobel Peace Prize winner Dr. Mario José Molina, and renowned expert on brain hormones Dr. Wylie Vale.  In addition to scholarship support, SD2 will match scholars with a STEM professional to serve as their mentor for every year they are in school.
