Ted Talk: Danielle Wood

Given the opportunity at 17 to work as an intern at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Danielle Wood’s mind was set on the career she wanted to pursue. Now, she is an assistant professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab and directs the Space Enabled research group. Her goal was to work in a career that would empower the development of others in the world. Working with MIT and a mentor, Danielle found that her knowledge in space technology could help economically disadvantaged countries. In her Ted Talk, she expands on the technology opportunities we can take to improve life on earth.
