The Diversity of Careers in Engineering
In order to create useful, everyday tools, engineers draw on concepts from the physical and mathematical sciences. Civil engineers are responsible for the planning and management of the building of a wide variety of artificial structures, including skyscrapers, dams, airports, and water and sewage systems. In electrical engineering, one can go in a variety of directions. Electrical engineers plan, create, test, and oversee the production of a wide variety of electrical devices, including motors, radar, and navigation systems.
